Drive an off-road all-terrain TOMCAR

Experience a unique guided Tomcar Tour of the Sonoran Desert from New River. With only 10 minutes of instructions, you will be ready to self-pilot an easy-to-drive off road Tomcar. Licensed drivers over 18 years of age can drive these amazing vehicles, originally developed for use by the Israeli Defense Forces special operations units!

You'll head off to the Ghost Town of Tip Top where a thriving silver mine operated from 1875 through 1937. You can experience the views and virgin landscapes. This adventure is a photographers dream! Take some time to explore as you work your way through several buildings and other attractions.

Departing Tip Top, experience a whole new set of breathtaking views on the way to Agua Fria Fort, a late 1800s historical monument. Your last stop is a turquoise mine where you get to hunt and keep real pieces of turquoise!

Summary: PLEASE NOTE: MINIMUM ORDER MUST BE 2 PERSONS. This excursion requires a total of 4 participants for the convoy to depart. On your E-Ticket, you will be provided a telephone number to call to check the status of your tour. If your tour does not operate due to the minimum number of participants not being met, a full refund will be issued for this tour. Tour does NOT include hotel pick-up; tour departs from New River, AZ - 25 to 45 miles from most Phoenix/Scottsdale hotels. Child rate applies to children under 12; recommended for ages 5+ only. This is a flat fee regardless of the number of tickets or tours purchased on an order.
There is a service charge per ticket. This charge will be reflected on your summary before you checkout. The total shown includes any and all taxes, fuel surcharges, and service fees. There are no additional charges.

Cancellation Policy: There are no refunds. All sales are final.

Change Fee Policy: If changes are allowed on a tour or activity, a $20.00 per reservation change fee will be applied for any change to a reservation. Please note that some tours and activities do not allow any changes. Date changes can be made only if we can confirm availability on the new date. While we cannot guarantee any changes can be made, all change requests must be submitted a minimum of 24 hours prior to the tour departure and must be handled on an individual basis through our Reservations Center.

- Water and snacks are supplied. There is some room in the cooler if you'd like to bring lunch or soft drinks.

Important:

- Tour departs from New River, AZ - 25 to 45 miles from most Phoenix/Scottsdale hotels.br> - Hats, sunglasses, closed toe shoes, long pants and sun block are recommended. Don't forget a camera!
- There is some optional, very light hiking and climbing and YOU WILL GET DUSTY.
- Tour is recommended for ages 5+.

Customer Orientation:

- Drivers (must be over 18 years of age) will receive training on how to drive the Tomcar. This orientation will cover all aspects of safe Tomcar operation, the clients' responsibilities, local and state laws.

Driver Requirements:

- All drivers must be over 18, and must possess a valid drivers license that qualifies him/her to operate a vehicle in the country of origin. A drivers license issued by any country will be accepted as long as it is valid.

Rental Agreement Form:

- Although multiple guests in your party will be able to drive the Tomcar(s) issued to your party based on your group's size, each of your cars will require a designated member of your party to complete the Tomcar Rental Agreement Form.

Waiver of Liability Form:

- Each member in your party must complete the Tomcar Waiver of Liability Form.

Security Deposits:

- A security deposit of up to $1000.00 will be taken at time of check-in (Authorization Only). Security deposit authorization must be processed via a valid credit card: Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express.
